Recipe:

White cardstock from crafty stash
Black cardstock from crafty stash
Red cardstock from crafty stash
Sentiment created in WordArt
Tonic fancy rectangle dies
Spellbinders crosses dies
RSD Sister Jubilata digi image coloured with Copics


To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to make an A5 landscape card blank.

Next I printed the image onto white card and after colouring I cut with one of the fancy dies and matted onto black card.

I cut two crosses in red card with the Spellbinders dies, then traced around both dies and fancy cut to create a matt onto which I glued the crosses.

I then cut two fancy rectangles in black and added the crosses onto these.

The sentiment was created in word using WordArt which I printed onto white card, fussy cut around and matted onto black card.

Finally, I placed the three toppers onto the front of my card, two at a jaunty angle and the third in the centre with the sentiment at a jaunty angle towards the top middle.

Birthday wishes

Good morning everyone, here is my make for today.  Its a birthday card for a friend.  I am also entering this card into the following challenge:

To create this card I used the accordion card die.

I die cut some backing paper and added to the front flaps, then used the circle die to cut out the coloured images before adding to the top of the backing paper.  I edged the cut out images in various colours with the distress inks.

Finally, I added the sentiment to complete.

Winter

Tonic fancy dies
Ching Chou Kuik Love in Spring digi image coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils
Tattered Lace sentiment and large flourish dies
Faux gems
Tonic flower punches



To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to make an A5 portrait card blank.  To this I added a piece of backing paper.

After colouring the image I used the Tonic dies to cut out and added to the front of my card using foam pads.

Next, I die cut the sentiment and flourish and added these to my card towards the left-hand side.

I then punched five flowers, added some faux gems in the centre and stuck to the card using wet glue.

Finally, I added a few more faux gems to the flowers on the digi image.

Get well

Hi everyone, here is a card I made for my cousin's husband who is recovering from an operation.

Recipe:

White cardstock from crafty stash
Tattered Lace Shutter Card dies
Backing paper from Hunkydory
Bugaboo Sassy Gal Nurse digi image coloured with Copics and Prisma pencils
Sentiments created in Word


To create this card I used the Shutter Card dies.

I then cut the backing paper (which is actually an insert) with the dies and added to the front of my card.

I fussy cut the coloured image and added to the card using foam pads and finally added the two sentiments to complete.

Hi everyone, here is a card I made today for a special lady who is one of my fellow DT members.

Recipe:

Kraft card blank from Creata
Red cardstock from crafty stash
White cardstock from crafty stash
White water colour cardstock from Crafters Companion
Wood grain embossing folder from Sheena Douglass
Perfect partners Poppy sentiment, flower, leaf stamp and die from Sheena Douglass
Faux gems
Black satin ribbon
Tim Holtz Black Soot, Fired Brick and Bundled Sage distress inks



To create this card I used an A6 kraft card blank.

I ran the white card through the embossing folder and inked around the edges with the Fired Brick ink.  Next I wrapped a piece of the ribbon around this and tied a know at the front.

I painted the flowers using the Fired Brick and Black Soot ink and the leaves in Bundled Sage before adding to the front of my card using wet glue.

Finally, I matt and layered the sentiment, added to the bottom right-hand corner of my card and then attached the faux gems in the other three corners.

Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog 43



 

Good morning everyone, welcome to another challenge and this week we have two fabulous sponsors being Robyn's Fetish and Eureka Stamps.

My first DT make using an image from Eureka.


Recipe:

White cardstock from crafty stash
Black cardstock from crafty stash
Backing papers and card template from Robert Addams CD Fantastic Folds
Tonic small lacy bow dies
Tonic square dies
Black and Silver peel off border
Tonic flower punches
Eureka sentiment and Heart Puppy digi image
Promarkers
Faux gems


To create this card I used a piece of A4 white card and folded and cut according to one of the templates on the Robert Addams' CD.

Next I layered some backing paper onto the front of the card and the two side steppers.  Then I punched the flowers from the same paper, added a few black and white pearl gems and placed around the card to decorate.

I die cut the bow again using the same paper, layered it up and adhered to the top of the middle stepper.

I printed the image onto white card, coloured the heart and tongue with Promarkers matted onto a piece of black card and then stuck to the front of the middle stepper at a jaunty angle.

Finally, I added the sentiment to the right-hand stepper panel after layering onto black card.

To create this card I used a piece of A4 white card and folded and cut according to one of the templates on the Robert Addams' CD.

Next I layered some backing paper onto the front of the card and the two side steppers.  Then I die cut the snowflakes from the same paper, added the faux gems and placed in the centre of the snowflakes once added to the side panels.

I added the digi image using foam pads to the centre and added the sentiment to the bottom of the card.




My third DT make this week is using an image from Robyn's Fetish.

Gold peel off sentiment coloured with black Promarker
Black and silver border peel offs
Robyn's Fetish Bible coloured with Copics


To create this card I used the Book A Trix board and cut out three different sizes, then ran them all through the embossing folders, one was a brick pattern and the other was the distressed one (my favourite).

I then layered them up using wet glue.  I placed two strips of the border peel offs down each side of the first layer, then I added the sentiment to the second layer down each side.

Finally, I added the coloured bible image to the centre smaller layer and added four faux pearl gems in each corner.

Butterfly witch

Hi everyone, here is my make for today.  I have created this project as I am applying for a DT position with Spellbinding Stamps by Nikki Burnette.  Wish me luck!!!

To create this card I created the cascade card with the template using two pieces of A4 double sided cardstock.

I fussy cut around my coloured image and stuck onto the bottom right-hand side of my card using foam pads.

I added some of the larger butterflies directly to the card and the smaller ones using the matchsticks to attach with wet glue.

Finally, I added some flowers to finish.

Santa's Bauble

Hi everyone, here is my third make for today.  I am entering this into the following challenges:

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 card to measure a 14cm x 14cm square card blank.

I covered the front in some of the backing paper and cut a smaller strip and passed through the embossing folder.

I matt and layered the coloured image onto another piece of the backing paper and finished by glazing the bauble.

Christmas in July

Hi everyone, here is another make from me today. I am entering this into the following challenges:

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to make an A5 portrait card blank.

I then added a piece of the double sided paper to the front of the card. I cut off two corners of the paper and stuck these to the front of the card showing the reverse pattern.

Next I die cut two circles, again from the double sided paper and stuck on the front of the card.

I die cut the image using the rectangle die and added to the left of the circles.

Finally, I added the sentiment at the top and the snowflake at the bottom and finished with a red gem.

To create this card I used a DL blank landscape and added a piece of backing card to this.

I used the rectangle die to cut the image then matt and layered onto a larger piece of silver mirror card.  I did the same with the sentiment.

I added the topper to the front of the card using foam tape and the sentiment alongside to finish.

Good morning, welcome to another challenge over at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog.  This week we have two great sponsors, Bugaboo and My Whimsical Little World.

To create this card I used a shaped card blank from |Hunkydory.

Next I cut a circle from the backing paper and added it to the front of the card.

I printed the digi image onto white card using a laser printed (you need a laser printer if you are going to foil anything), cut around and then foiled it with the blue foil.

A very simple card to make but very effective.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to make an A5 landscape card.

To this I added a piece of backing paper, then added the coloured digi image.  Next I added some snow for highlights.

I made the flower by cutting a strip of blue paper and then cut using the fringe scissors, then I rolled up and shaped before adding the two snowflake dies to the centre and finished with a faux gem.

Finally, I matt and layered the sentiment before adding to the right-hand side of my card.

Hi everyone, welcome to challenge 41 over at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog.  This week, we have three fantastic sponsors, Dr Digi, Sweet N Sassy and Inky Impressions.


My first DT make this week is using a Dr Digi image.

Recipe:

White card blank from Hunkydory
Black cardstock from crafty stash

Hand written sentiment


This was a really simple card to make.  I used the card blank and added a piece of black card cut with one of the circle dies.  After colouring the image I used another of the circle dies and added it to the black circle then stuck to the front of the card.

Finally, I cut two smaller circles, one in black and the other in white (which had my sentiment written on it) and added to the card using foam pads.


My second DT make is using an image from Sweet N Sassy.

Brown textured cardstock from crafty stash
Sweet N Sassy Cardinal digi image coloured with Copics
Frost from Craft Attic
Tonic square dies


To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 card to measure a 13cm x 13 cm card blank.

I then die cut a piece of the brown textured card and added to this after colouring the image.

I then placed the finished topper onto the front of my card.

I love this image and have created this for a Christmas card.


My final DT makes are using images from Inky Impressions.

To create this card I used three pieces of A4 white card and used the snow globe die set to cut out the shape following the instructions provided.

I printed the digi image onto white card and cut with one of the Tonic circle dies and then added her to the backing paper, also cut from one of the Tonic circle dies before added to the inside of my globe.

Finally, I added the sentiment to the front of the globe.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to measure a 15cm x 15cm square card blank.

Next I cut out two of the Spellbinders shapes and added one to the front and the other to the back of the card to create the complete shaped card blank.

I then die cut the coloured image on the white card and matted and layered onto a larger green shape and then stuck to the front of my card using foam tape.

I then did the same with the sentiment and added it to the top of my card using foam tape.

Finally, I punched some flowers in green and white paper layered them up and added a faux gem in the centre of each one, then stuck them to the green and white die cut ferns which I had offset.

Penny

Good morning everyone, here is one of my makes for today.  I am entering this into the following challenge:

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white cardstock to measure a 15cm x 15cm square card blank.

I ran a piece of the co-ordinations cardstock through the embossing folder and sanded back to reveal the core colour which I then attached to the front of my card.

I used the black pen to draw in some faux stitches around the end of the digi topper before adding to a piece of green cardstock.

I then added this to the front of the card using foam tape.

Finally, I added the sentiment with foam tape to complete.

Birthday wishes for friend

Good morning everyone, here is what I've been making today.  Its a birthday card for a friend.

Recipe:

Crafters Companion double sided A3 cardstock gingham/polka dots
White cardstock from crafty stash
Cascade card template from Paula Walters Designs
Tattered Lace Sweet Pea flower dies
Sentiment from Hunkydory
Butterfly embellishment


To create this card I used a cascade template.

I then die cut the Sweet Pea flowers and glued them to the card using wet glue.  I glued a piece of white card to the back so that there is somewhere to write.

Finally, I added a butterfly embellishment the sentiment to decorate.

I am really pleased with the end result of this card and will definitely be making more of them.

Hi everyone, here is my make for today, its a birthday card order for a customer with very specific request!!

Red scalloped shaped card blank by Creata

To create this card I ran a piece of white card measuring 19cm x 19cm through the embossing folder and added to the front of my card.

After colouring the images, I cut the WineoClock with the die and matted her onto a piece of red card then stuck to my main card using wet glue.  I then fussy cut around the Foxy Mama image and added her to my card using foam pads.

I die cut the letters in red card and added to the relevant images.

Finally, I die cut the sentiment twice, once in red and once in white then offset them as shown.

Christmas Holly

Hi everyone, here is my make for today. Yah its Christmas in July!

Recipe:

Double sided cardstock from Create and Craft
Tattered Lace Box dies
Tattered Lace Charisma Holly decoupage from CD and die
Gold organza ribbon
Tattered Lace Greetings sentiment


To create this project I used the new box dies from Tattered Lace.  I must admit this makes making these boxes so easy!

I printed the decoupage flowers from the CD and cut with the relevant die to match.  Then I layered all of them and added to my box.

I made the bow using the Bowmaker and added to the side of the box using glue gel.

I cut the greetings sentiment and added to the other side of the box to complete.

To create this card I used a 13.5cm x 13.5cm Ivory card blank. I added the backing paper to the front of the card, then matt and layered the digi image onto the front of the card placed at an angle.
 
Finally, I added the butterfly and flower embellishments to the top half of the card and the sentiment at the bottom right-hand side.

My first DT make is using an image from Patties Creations.

Recipe:

White cardstock from crafty stash
Embossing folder from Crafters Companion
Sentiment from Hunkydory
Patties Creations Mother and Child digi image coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir pencils
Corner punch


To create this card I used a piece of A4 white card and passed it through the embossing folder.  When folded in half it forms a lovely embossed baby card.

I then added the coloured image topper which has been rounded at the corners.

Finally, I added the sentiment using foam tape.


My second DT make this week is using an image from The Stamping Boutique.

Recipe:

White cardstock from crafty stash
Blue satin ribbon
Flower embellishments from crafty stash
The Stamping Boutique sentiment and Little girl fairy - once upon a time digi image coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir pencils


This was a really simple card to make.

I printed the digi image and sentiment straight onto my white cardstock.

I then scored and folded in half to create an A5 portrait card blank.

Next I coloured the image and added a piece of blue satin ribbon down the left-hand side of the card, hiding the back of the ribbon beneath a piece of white card which I stuck on the inside flap.

Finally, I added three white flower embellishments down the strip of ribbon.
