Julia Spiri Challenge Blog - 18 February 2016

Good morning everyone, welcome to another challenge at  Julia Spiri.  The theme this week is Vencie and I have used one of the Venice collections for my DT project.

Card recipe:

White cardstock from crafty stash
Pink cardstock from crafty stash
Backing card from DCWV
Yellow cardstock from crafty stash
Crafters Companion Desire Renaissance die
Mask embellishment from crafty stash  (I believe I got some of these in a Christmas cracker a couple of years ago - new they would come in hand some time).
Faux gems
Julia Spiri  Venice coloured with Copics, Derwent pencils, Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils and Spectrum Noir Sparkle glitter pens
Black fine line pen
Tonic fancy rectangle dies

To create this card I first used the die to form the top of my card, next I folded in half and trimmed away the top back.  Then I added some pink card to the front of my main card.

After colouring my image I die cut her and matt and layered onto some yellow card and some backing card before attaching to my main card.

Finally, I added the mask to the top right hand side and wrote the word Valentine also down the right hand side to complete.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope you like my DT make for this week's challenge.
