Christmas scene

Hi everyone, here is a card from me today, yes its that dreaded word Christmas!!!

Recipe:

Centura Parl cardstock
Black cardstock from crafty stash
Tattered Lace Snowglobe dies and sentiment
Crafters Companion Tree and scene dies



I created the card using the Tattered Lace snowglobe dies.

I added the middle size Crafters Companion tree to the back of the scene, next I added the house scenes and finally the 5 small trees to the back of the frame to give it some depth.

I cut the sentiment from black card and added to the bottom of the finished card.

Flora

Hi everyone, here is my make for today.  I am entering this into the Tiddly Inks Challenge 160.

Recipe:

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to measure 15cm x 11cm to make the card blank.

I ran the front of the card through the embossing folder and distressed with the wax, then die cut the coloured image using the Tonic die and added to the front of the card using foam tape.

I die cut the flourishes and poinsettia from the black foam, added the faux gems in the centre of the flowers and fixed to the right-hand side of the card using wet glue.

Finally, I added the sentiment towards the top left-hand corner of the topper.

Inspiration Destination Challenge 39

Here is my first DT make for this week's challenge.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to measure 15cm by 15cm.

I die cut the coloured digi image and added it to some backing paper and mirror card before attaching to the front of my card offsetting it to the right-hand side using foam pads.

I matted and layered the sentiment and added it to the front of the card on the left-hand side.

Finally, I added four faux gems in the corners to complete.

Our second sponsor is Polkadoodles.

To create this card I used an Ivory 13cm x 13cm square card blank.

After colouring the image I inked the edges with the distress ink before matt and layering her onto some backing paper and pink mirror card.  This was added to the front of my card.

I did the same with the sentiment and added an a jaunty angle to the top right-hand side of the card.

Finally, rolled the scrap of white paper to create a scroll and tied with the baker's twine before attaching to the bottom left-hand side of the card.

To create this card I used a piece of A4 white card which I folded in half.  Next I took one of the Tonic dies and cut, overlapping slightly on top and bottom to create the shaped card.  Next I folded the front of the card in half to create an easel.

I then die cut a further piece in white and adhered to the front of the card gluing at the bottom.  I then took a smaller Tonic die and cut two pieces of the backing paper. On one of these pieces I die cut the patterned edge before adding to my card.

I glued the image onto a piece of black card and fussy cut around her before adhering to the front of my card using foam tape.

Finally, I die cut another small piece of white card and backing paper, then added the sentiment to the centre of this which formed the stopper for my easel.

Birthday wishes

Hi everyone, here is my make for today.  Its a birthday card for a customer, apparently the recipient's nickname is Dora the Explorer (ha ha) not bad for a 24 year old!

To create this card I scored and folded half of the front to make an easel card blank.  Then I cut another piece of the same card to add to the front.

Next I matt and layered some patterned papers onto the front of the card before added my three images which had also been matted and layered.

The stopper was created using the same papers and adhered with foam tape to give it some height and finally I added the sentiment, butterfly, flower and bow to complete the card.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to make a 16cm x 16cm square card blank.

I then added a piece of backing paper to the front of my card to reflect waves. After colouring the map, I tore the edges and inked with one of the distressed inks and added it to the card at an angle.

After colouring the ship, I cut five small squares of the Jute Roll with the die and glued them to the sails using wet glue. I then added four brads to the ship.

Finally, I added the ship to the card using foam pads.

This was a very simple card to make. I scored and folded a piece of A4 card to measure a 13cm x 13cm square card.

I just matt and layered up the image onto white and blue mirror card and voila, finito!

Beneath the sea ...

Hi everyone, here is my make for today.

Well I definitely went to town on this one and used some mixed media for this card.

I started with a piece of white card which I scored and folded to create a card measuring 19cm x 10cm.

I printed the sentiment and digi image onto white card.  To create the background I used the aqua pens, spectrum noir pencils and water.

The mermaid was coloured using Copics for her skin and seahorse, Spectrum Noir pencils for her hair and the Pebeo acrylic paints for her tail and top.

To finish, I added the sentiment at the bottom of the card and three flower embellishments on the right-hand side.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of white A4 card, then cut to measure 13cm x 13cm. I then folded the front half of the card back to make the easel shape.

I added a piece of backing paper to the base of the card and the sentiment onto this using foam tape to form the stopper.

I printed the image onto white card and die cut then added it to a piece of grey silk card and adhered to the card.  Finally, I added some faux gems to finish.

To create this card I used one of the shaped card blanks from Hunkydory.

I added a piece of backing paper to which I rounded the edges before adhering to the front of the card.

I die cut the coloured image and matted onto another piece of backing paper then added at a jaunty angle to the card.

Finally, I added the dog and friend sentiments to complete.

Under the sea

Hi everyone, here is my make for today.  I am entering this into the following challenges:

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white cardstock to measure 15cm x 12cm.  Next I cut a piece of pink card with the Tonic die and added to the front of the card, then I cut a piece of the green card with the Tonic die and added the coloured image onto this which I also die cut with the Tonic die before adding to the card at a jaunty angle.

I used the silver glitter pen to highlight the scales and tail.

I did the same with the sentiment and added on the front of the card at the top right-hand side.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to measure 7" by 5" to make the landscape card blank.

I added two pieces of backing papers to the front of the card, then added the topper to this.  I printed the digi image onto white card and after colouring, fussy cut around and added to the topper using foam pads.

Finally, I added three faux gems to the top right-hand side.

To create this I cut out the image using one of the Tonic circle dies, then matt and layered two circles onto the card blank.

I added some glitter to the spectacles and arm bracelet and finally added the sentiment at the top right-hand side of the card.

Happy Birthday

Good morning everyone, here is my make for today.  Its a birthday card for a friend.

To create this project I ran the front of the card only through the embossing folder.

I printed the frame onto white card using my laser printer (you need a laser printer for foiling).  I also added the image to the centre of my frame.  I just foiled the frame, not the image.

I die cut the flowers and flourishes before layering them up and adding to the front of my card finishing with the faux gems.

Finally, I added the sentiment using foam tape.

Sisters of Craft June 2015 Challenge





Good morning everyone, can you believe we are celebrating our 1st anniversary this month.  Thank you all for joining us over the last year and we look forward to seeing your creations over the future months.

To create this card I cut a circle and folded it in half to make the rocker.  I cut around the image and added it to the front of the rocker securing it by foam pads.

Finally, I added the sentiment on the lower right-hand side.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of white card to measure 16.5cm x 15cm.

I then matt and layered a smaller piece of the backing paper onto black card and attached to the front of my main card.

Next, I used the Tonic fancy rectangle dies and cut the image, another smaller piece of backing paper and black card which I layered together then adhered at an angle to the front of my card.

I cut a strip of the backing paper and added it to the lower left-hand side of the card to look like more film.

Finally, I added the sentiment, again matt and layered, together with the flower and leaves which I air sprayed with the black Promarker.
