Inspiration Destination Challenge 53

To create this planner I used white cardstock, pink cardstock and white paper.  After printing everything out using the templates, I hole punched the pages and bound using The Cinch Bookbinder.

My second DT make this week is using an image from Little Blue Button Stamps.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of white card to make a landscape card blank.

After colouring the image I die cut and matt and layered onto the pink card before adding to the front of my card to form the topper.

Finally, I added the die cut hat to give an Ascot effect to the image and decorated with flower embellishments.

Alternative Christmas

Hi everyone, here is what I've been doing this morning.  Its my entry for the Artbymiran September Anything Goes Challenge 2015 Anything but a square.  You can find the link here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.849953215124064&type=1

I WAS CHOSEN AS THE RANDOM WINNER WITH THIS CARD

Recipe:

White cardstock from crafty stash
Red cardstock from crafty stash
Tattered Lace Double Sided stepper, sentiment and poinsettia dies
Brick wall embossing folder from Sheena Douglass
Artbymiran Punkette Peta digi image coloured with Lyra Rembrandt Poloycolor pencils
Faux flower gems (to cover the skull on her top) and centres for flowers


To create this card I used the double sided stepper dies to cut from white cardstock.

I ran a smaller section of the die cut card through the embossing folder and added to the front of my card.  I printed out my image onto some white card and then copied and flipped her to form a mirror image.  I absolutely adore this image and have coloured her several times now.  Next I used another section of the die to cut around my images and added to the two side panels of my card using foam tape.

I then added two smaller pieces of embossed card to the middle panels, added the flowers and leaves to these and finally finished by adding the sentiment on the front at the bottom.

Xmas penguins

Hi everyone, here is what I've been doing today.  Yes, its another Christmas card!

White cardstock from crafty stash
Blue paper from crafty stash
Backing paper and digi image from Polkadoodles Octavia Frosted Winter CD coloured with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils
Crafters Companion Christmas Tree dies
Spellbinders flower dies
Silver peel off sentiment
Tattered Lace double sided stepper dies

 
To create this card I cut the stepper with the Tattered Lace die.  I also cut the backing paper with the die and added to the front of my card.  I cut two small pieces of the backing paper and added to the centre panels.
 
I die cut the trees and added the larger one to the left hand panel and the two smaller ones on the centre middle panel.
 
I added the sentiment to the middle back panel.
 
After colouring my image I fussy cut around her and mounted her on the right hand side panel using foam tape.
 
Finally, I added the die cut flowers to the bottom left hand panel beneath the tree.

Gay Paris

To create this card I scored and folded a sheet of A4 white card to make a 15cm by 15cm square card blank.  I scored and folded the front of the card in half to make the easel card base.

Next, I covered the base of the card in the backing paper and added the stamped sentiment using foam tape after cutting out with fancy edge scissors and matt and layering onto a piece of the dark blue card.

I printed out the image direct onto the background and after colouring my image I matt and layered her onto some dark blue card and added to the folded flap of my card using foam tape.

Finally, I added the flourish and flowers on the left hand side to complete.

Inspiration Destination Challenge 52

White shaped card blank
Black cardstock from crafty stash

Flower embellishment
Bugaboo Beauty coloured with Copics
Tonic square dies
Tonic Clay
Black fine line pen


To create this card I used a white shaped card blank.

I die cut a piece of black card and then added my coloured image to this before adding the front of my card.

Finally, I added a flower embellishment made from the clay and inked with the black pen.

My second DT make this week is using an image from Eureka Stamps.

Dark blue hammered cardstock from crafty stash
Light blue cardstock from crafty stash
White cardstock from crafty stash
Blue satin ribbon
Eureka Stamps Mary & Joseph digi image
Crafters Companion Snowflake embossing folder
Gold glitter gel
Corner punch
Tonic circle dies


To create this card I scored and folded an A4 piece of dark blue hammered card to make an A5 card blank.

I ran the light blue card through the embossing folder then sanded back to reveal the white snowflakes.  I then added a piece of blue satin ribbon around this card and tied a knot to create the bow before adding to the front of my card.

I cut out the image with the circle die and added to a large piece of dark blue hammered card before attaching to the front of my card to form the topper.  I coloured the background of the topper with a Derwent blue pencil.

Finally, I added some gold glitter gel to the star on the topper.

I die cut the flourishes from the red card and added to the right hand side of the card, then added the punched flowers and pearls.

Finally, I added the sentiment on the lower left hand side to complete.

Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone, I'd like to share a card I made for a friend's birthday.

Recipe:

White cardstock from crafty stash
Backing papers and digi image from Crafters Companion Flights of Fantasy CD
Sentiment from Hunkydory
Faux gems
Tonic flower punches
Tonic dies


To create this card I scored and folded a sheet of A4 white card to measure a 15cm x 15cm square card blank.  To this I added a piece of backing paper slightly smaller than the card leaving a white border around the edge.

After colouring my digi image with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils I die cut and added to the front of my card using wet glue.

I punched three flowers and layered them up, then added the faux gems to the centres before adding to the right hand side of my card.

Finally, I added the sentiment at the bottom left hand side to complete.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to make a 15cm x 15cm square card blank.  To this I added a piece of black card, then a smaller piece of backing paper.

After colouring my image I die cut them out and matt and layered onto a larger piece of black card before adding to my main card with foam tape.

Finally, I added the butterflies at the bottom right hand side and finished with three pearl gems.

To create this card I used the shaped card blank.

I die cut a piece of the blue polka dot paper with the hexagonal die and added to the front of the card, then I die cut the finished image with the square die and added to the front of my card using foam tape.

Finally, I added three flower embellishments at the left-hand side, added a faux gem to the blue one and the sentiment at the top right-hand side.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of white A4 card to make the stepper card using the template.

I cut backing papers to fit the card and stuck to the front panels.  After colouring the image I die cut and matt and layered it onto the front of my centre panel.

I die cut the flowers and layered them up and added to the side panels and the lower front step adding faux gems to the centres.

Finally, I stuck the sentiment on the middle panel on the right-hand side to complete.

My third DT make for this week is using an image by Dr Digi.

To create this card I scored and cut a piece of A4 white cardstock to measure a 20cm x 15cm card blank.

To this I added a piece of black card then a piece of the backing paper before adding my coloured image to the top.

I die cut the poinsettias and embossed them, then layered them up and adhered to the bottom left-hand corner of the card.  I also cut two in black and then cut them to form the leaves.

Finally, I added the sentiment to the bottom right-hand side to complete.

Enchanted Christmas

Hi everyone, here is another Christmas made from me today.  I am entering this into the Digi Choosday Crafting Challenge Week 36.

I created the card using the template from the CD.

I then added the background on the three panels and a strip of purple card along the base.

After colouring my image I die cut and matt and layered onto some purple card before attaching to my main centre panel at a jaunty angle using foam tape.

Finally, I added the flower and flourish embellishments, finished with a faux gem in the centre and my peel off at the bottom of the card.

Winter wishes

Antartic Christmas .....

Good morning everyone, here is one of my Christmas makes for today.

White cardstock from crafty stash
Background and digi image coloured with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils from Octavia Frosted Winter CD from Polkadoodles
Silver peel off sentiment
Tattered Lace Snowflake die
Glitter


I scored and folded an A4 piece of white card to make an A5 landscape card blank.

I added the background to the front of my card and after colouring my image I fussy cut around her before adding her to the front of my card using wet glue.  I then added the arrow heads and bird, then drew in the top of the fishing pole and the shafts of the arrows.

I die cut the snowflake in white card and covered in glitter, I also glittered around the fishing hole.

Finally, I added the glittered snowflake to the top right hand side of my card and the sentiment at the bottom right hand side to complete.

To create this card I used the Gatefold templates from the CD.

I die cut the candles and the number 3 from the pink card and stuck to the left-hand panel of my card with wet glue.

Finally, I added the sentiment to the right-hand panel to complete.

Bambi

Hi everyone, another Christmas card from me today.

Tattered Lace Scene Stepper, sentiment and Bambi dies

After cutting out all elements I put this card together, added the Bambi on the front, the bow at the top left hand side and the sentiment at the bottom.

After cutting out the Bambi, I coloured his feet in black Copic to make it look as though he is wearing boots.

Christmas cards

Hi everyone, here are a couple of Christmas cards I made today.

Recipe:

White cardstock from crafty stash
Pale blue cardstock from Kanban
Glitter
Tattered Lace owl dies and sentiment
Tonic circle die
Snowflake embossing folder from Crafters Companion
Black ink pen
Promarkers


I scored and folded an A4 sheet of white card to make a 17cm x 12cm card blank.

I ran a piece of pale blue card through the embossing folder, die cut a circle for the moon and stuck to the front of my card.

After die cutting the owls, I coloured their hats with the Promarkers and glittered them as well as the branch.  I used a black ink pen for the noses and eyes.

I cut two small pieces of white card then tore on one long side of each to create a snowy effect and then glittered the whole of this area to look like snow.  I also glittered the moon.

Finally, I added the sentiment to complete.

Inspiration Destination Challenge 50

To create this card I used a white shaped card blank. Next I cut around some backing papers to fit the card blank which I matt and layered using wet glue.

After colouring the image I cut out with one of the Tonic dies and added to a larger piece of backing paper before adhering to the front of my card.

I punched three flowers, added faux gems to the centres and attached to the lower left-hand side of my card.  Finally, I added the sentiment at the bottom right-hand side to complete.

My second DT make this week is using an image from Fresh Brewed Designs.

Fresh Brewed Designs Beautiful Rose digi image coloured with Prismacolor pencils and Copics


To create this card I used a yellow card blank.  Next I matt and layered some backing paper, white card and yellow card onto the front of my main card.

After colouring my image I die cut and added to a larger piece of backing paper before attaching to the front of my card at a jaunty angle.

I cut four corners from the backing paper and added to the yellow card to create a frame.

Finally I added the sentiment in the middle at the bottom.

Red Xmas

Hi everyone, here is one of my makes for today.  Its another Christmas card and I am entering this into the Left o Centre Creative Challenge 94.  This challenge was to use mainly red.

Recipe:

Red cardstock from crafty stash
White cardstock from crafty stash
Snowflake and Distress embossing folders from Crafters Companion
Red grograin ribbon
Tonic fancy rectangle dies
That Craft Place Sugarfrosted digi image coloured with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils
Silver peel off


To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 red card to measure an A5 portrait card blank.

I ran a piece of white card through the Snowflake embossing folder and added to the front of my card after wrapping the ribbon about the bottom and tying a knot.

Next I die cut my image and matted and layered her onto a piece of red card which had been passed through the Distress embossing folder and then attached to the front of the card to form the topper.

Finally, I coloured the silver peel off in red to match the card.

Spooky ...

Hi everyone, here is one of my makes for today.  I am entering this into the Make It Crafty CAS Black and White Challenge.

Make It Crafty Bats 1 & 2, Mini Gothilia, Mink Dracula, Bare Tree and Coffin images coloured with the Lyra greys set of pencils
Stamps Away moon mask


To create this card I scored and folded an A4 piece of black card to make an A5 portrait card blank.

I took a piece of white card, placed my moon mask on and then washed all over with a very weak colour of Black Soot to form the sky.

Once the background was done I removed the mask to reveal the moon.

After colouring the images I fussy cut around them all before layering them onto my card. together with the gate.

Granddaughter

Hi everyone, here is my make for today.  I am entering this into the following challenge:

To create this card I scored and folded an A4 sheet of white card to measure a 15cm x 15cm square card blank.

I added a piece of backing paper to this and then a further smaller piece of backing paper again.

After colouring my image, I die cut her and matt and layered her onto a piece of pink card before adding to my main card to form the topper.

I due cut the flourishes and added down the right hand side of my card and then added the flower embellishments on top.

Finally, I added the sentiment to the bottom left hand side to complete.

My granddaughter chose all the colours for this project.

Anniversary

Hi everyone, here is an anniversary card I have made for my partner.  We will have been together for 29 years on 13 September!  (No point in rushing things lol.)

I then cut a smaller piece of blue card and added to the front of my card blank.

After colouring my image I cut her out using one of the Spellbinders dies and matt and layered her onto some blue card, then added to white card and attached to the left hand side of my main card to form the topper.

I die cut the sentiment and added to a piece of white card before adding to the right hand side of my main card.

Finally, I added the numbers at the top right hand side and the flower embellishment to the bottom left hand side to complete.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to make an A5 landscape card.

To this I added a piece of backing paper, then added the coloured digi image.  Next I added some snow for highlights.

I made the flower by cutting a strip of blue paper and then cut using the fringe scissors, then I rolled up and shaped before adding the two snowflake dies to the centre and finished with a faux gem.

Finally, I matt and layered the sentiment before adding to the right-hand side of my card.

Inspiration Destination Challenge 49



Good morning everyone, welcome to another challenge over at Inspiration Destination.  Please come and join us, you may even win!!!

This week we have The Paper Shelter as our fantastic sponsor.  My DT make for this week is using the beautiful image The Huntress.

Backing papers from DCWV
Pink cardstock from crafty stash

Tonic fancy rectangle and small bow dies

To create this card I used two pieces of white A4 card and scored and folded to make the easel card blank.

Next I matt and layered some backing paper onto the front and base of my card.

After colouring the image, I matt and layered onto some pick card and added to the front of the card.

I die cut the bow in dark pink and added to the base onto some other backing papers using foam pads to create the stopper.  Next I added three faux gems to the centre of the bow.

Finally, I added the sentiment at the bottom right-hand side of the card.

Sisters of Craft September 2015 Challenge



Good morning and welcome to the September 2015 Challenge.  This week we have the fantastic Papernest Dolls for a sponsor.


Here is my DT make for this month's challenge.

To create this card I used a shaped card blank.  I added a piece of backing paper to the front of the card after cutting to the shape of the card. 

I die cut the acetate after using alcohol inks on it and ran it through the embossing folder to get the bubble effect.  I stuck this to the front of my card using wet glue, then added the coloured image after cutting with the circle die.

I cut a small piece of the fuzzy paper with the fringe scissors to create a towel to hang on the bath.

Finally, I added the faux gems and the sentiment to complete.
