Flora

Hi everyone, here is my make for today.  I am entering this into the Tiddly Inks Challenge 160.

Recipe:

White cardstock from crafty stash
Black foam from crafty stash
Sentiment from Hunkydory
Tonic rectangle shaped die
Embossing folder from Sheena Douglass
Silver Alchemy wax from Imagination Crafts
Spellbinders flourish die
Tattered Lace Ponsettia dies and embossing folder
Freebie Flora digi image from Tiddly Inks coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir pencils
Faux gems

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white card to measure 15cm x 11cm to make the card blank.

I ran the front of the card through the embossing folder and distressed with the wax, then die cut the coloured image using the Tonic die and added to the front of the card using foam tape.

I die cut the flourishes and poinsettia from the black foam, added the faux gems in the centre of the flowers and fixed to the right-hand side of the card using wet glue.

Finally, I added the sentiment towards the top left-hand corner of the topper.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like my make for today.

  3. Cute Card Wendy. (Just popping over via the Gothic Challenge) Love the dimension the black foam adds to the die cuts. Those Poinsettia leaves are a perfect addition.
