Exciting News!

Good morning everyone, I have some exciting news to share.  I have just become a member of the Design Team at Julia Spiri so will start posting in January on the challenge blog. 


In the meantime, I have created the following using one of Julia's lovely images, but you don't have to wait until January to enter into the challenge, you can join in now.  You can find the link at the bottom of this page.

Card recipe:

To create this card I scored and folded a sheet of A4 white card to make a 15cm x 15cm square card blank.  To this I added a piece of one of the backing papers.

After colouring my image I fussy cut around her and added her to my main card on the right hand side using foam tape.

I die cut two flourishes in white and added to the left hand side of my card using wet glue.  Next I die cut the poppies in another of the backing papers and added them on top of the flourishes.  Then I added the small roses at each end of the flower spray and a couple into the centre of the poppies.

Finally, I added the sentiment to complete.
