Lynda 70th

Hello everyone, here is the first part of my best friend's birthday present.  She will be 70 this year but not until 18th August 2020 so I have plenty of time to get some things together for her. Today, is 8th April 2020 and we are all on lockdown due Covid19.

Hopefully, by the time I post this we will be pretty much back to normal, whatever normal is!

Recipe:

Wooden base from Arteza
Hot Glue Gun
Fork
Fleur flower foam in various colours
Gemini stamens, flower and leaves dies
Hot iron

First of all I made the flowers, then cut all the leaves.

I got my partner to bend a fork for me which I then stuck to the wooden base and left to set for a while. I then covered the fork with the leaves and finally added the flowers so that the fork could not be seen.

It gives the appearance of the flowers floating and I was really pleased with the way it turned out. I hope my friend likes it!
