Scrappers Delights Featured DT Tutorial

Hi everyone, its my turn for a step by step tutorial over at Scrappers Delight.
#scrappersdelights #cardmaking #digitalstamps #papercrafts #adultcoloring

I hope you have a cuppa (or glass of wine) at the ready, this may be a long read!!

First of all I printed off my image which is Fitness Honey Aerobics.  I go to a Zumba Class four times a week and these images remind me of this.

To begin, I coloured the images using my Copics.

For the first image on the left-hand side I used the following colour combos:

Skin:  E000, E00, E11, E21, EO8 R20
Eyes:  E89, E87
Hair:  E35, E33, E31

Outfit:  Black, C3, C1, C0, Blender

For the image in the middle I used the following colour combos:

Skin:  E000, E00, E21, E08, R20
Eyes:  YG97, YG93

Outfit:  R85, R83, R81

For the image on the right-hand side I used the following colour combos:

Skin:  E29, E25, E23, E21
Hair:  W9, W7, W5, W3

This was by far the most scary skin to colour as it looks so dark at the beginning and you don't see the final result until the last colour blend.

Outfit:  YG03, YG01

Now onto the background.

First of all I fussy cut around my images, then set them aside for later.

Next, I took a white scallop dotted card blank measuring 19cm x 19cm.  I cut a piece of silver mirror to fit the top half of the card, then a piece of backing paper to fit the bottom.  I then cut a piece of dark lined brown textured cardstock to fit across the middle.

I also used a rounded corner punch on the top and bottom halves of these to tie in with the main card blank.

I then adhered my images using glue gel

I then used a music embossing folder on some silver
mirror card and rounded the corners again to tie in with the
rest of the main card.

I die cut the letters using a set from Tattered Lace then put through my Crafters Companion machine to get the glue on the back of the letters.

I added the word "music" to the embossed silver mirror.

I added the words "zumba fun" at the top left-hand side of the card

Finally, here is my finished card.

Well, I said this could be a long read!!!! As stated at the beginning, I am a Zumba fanatic and love the classes I attend every week.  I have met a wonderful set of new people who have become friends and have lots of fun keeping fit too.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.  Feedback is always very much appreciated and I would love you to follow my blog.
