Sisters of Craft May 2015 Challenge

Good morning everyone, welcome to the May 2015 challenge at Sisters of Craft. Our sponsor for this month is Artbymiran and we would love you to join in and show us your creations.  You can find the link here http://thesistersofcraft.blogspot.co.uk/.  There are three images up for grabs this month, so well worth entering!  Here is my DT make.

Recipe:

White cardstock from crafty stash
Backing card (this is the waste from a Tonic die)
Backing papers and flower embellishment from Lizzy Lu Papercrafting CD by Debbi Moore
Tonic circle dies
Glitter
Butterfly embellishment from crafty stash
Faux gems
Sentiment from My paper Stash
Artbymiran Fairy Lily digi image coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir pencils

To create this card I used an A4 piece of white cardstock and scored and folded it to make a shaped stepper card.

Next, I covered the front and side panels with two backing papers.

I die cut two circles from the Tonic waste card, then mounted my image and sentiment onto these, again using a smaller Tonic circle die.  I added the topper to the middle of my card using foam pads.

I added a flower embellishment to the left-hand panel and the sentiment to the right-hand panel.

Finally, I adhered a butterfly embellishment at the lower left of the front and three faux gems on the right.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like my make.
