Inspiration Destination Challenge 83


Welcome to another challenge over at Inspiration Destination, we would love you to join us and show us your creations.

Tim Holtz distress ink

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 kraft card to make a 6.5in x 5.5in card blank.  To this I added a smaller piece of green card.

After colouring my image I matt and layered onto the green card using wet glue.

I die cut the sentiment and inked around the edges before adding to my card.  Finally, I added the button and string to complete.

My 2nd DT make for this week is using an image from All Dressed Up.

All Dressed Up A time to share coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils
Tonic fancy rectangle and square dies

To create this card I scored and folded a sheet of A4 white hammered card to make a 15cm x 15cm square card blank.  To this I added a smaller piece of green card.

After colouring my image, I die cut and matt and layered onto some blue card before adding to my main card using wet glue.

Finally, I matt and layered the sentiment onto some of the green card before adding to the top right hand side at a jaunty angle.

Sea Friends

To create this card I used a small DL card from my crafty stash.

After colouring my image I die cut them and matt and layered onto some green card before adding towards the left hand side of my main card.

After die cutting the sentiment, I matt and layered onto some of the green card and added to the right hand side of my main card to complete.

My second DT make for this week is using an image from The East Wind

Pattered cardstock from Hunkydory

The East Wind Aurora Harbour Bridge digi coloured with Copics and Derwent pencils

To create this card I scored and folded a sheet of A4 white hammered card to make a 7in x 5in card blank.

I cut a piece of the blue card slightly smaller than my main card blank and another piece of backing card slightly smaller again, then matt and layered together before adding to my main card.

After colouring my image I cut around her and matt and layered onto some of the black card, then added to my main card at a jaunty angle.

Finally, I cut out the sentiment using fancy edge scissors, matt and layered onto some black card and added on bottom left hand side to complete.

Julia Spiri Challenge - 14th April 2016


Hi everyone, welcome to another challenge over at Julia Spiri.  The theme is as always "Anything Goes" with a twist being a bag with a digi this week.

Card recipe: 

Olive green cardstock from crafty stash
Backing paper from DCWV
Flower embellishments from crafty stash
One of the new baby digis by Julia Spiri.  This one is called Its a Girl and coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils
Butterfly embellishments from Hunkydory
Tonic oval dies

To create this bag I scored and folded a sheet of A4 card using the Ultimate Pro from Crafters Companion and one of Sara Davies' CDs.

After colouring my image, I die cut her and added her to the front of my bag.

Next I added some butterfly and flower embellishments.

The inside of the bag looks like this. 

 I folded the sheet of backing paper so that it explodes when the bag is opened.

To create this card I scored and folded a piece of A4 white hammered card to make a 15cm x 15cm square card blank.  To this I added a smaller piece of the green card.

After colouring my image I die cut her and matt and layered onto some green backing paper, then white hammered card before adding to my main card using wet glue.

Finally, I added the sentiment at a jaunty angle on the top left hand side.

My second DT make for this week is using an image from A Day for Daisies.

To create this card I used the stepper dies.

After colour my image I die cut her and added her to the centre panel using foam tape.

I added the flower embellishments and small flourishes to the side panels and the larger flourishes to the bottom panel with the sentiment in the middle.

Aurora Wings Poppy Elf digi image coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils

To create this card I scored and folded a sheet of A4 white hammered card to make a 7in x 5in card blank.  To this I added a slightly smaller piece of red patterned card.

After colouring my image, I inked the edges using the distress inks then matt and layered onto some red card and white hammered card before adding to my main card using strong red tape.

I coloured the butterfly to match the poppies and added to the top right hand side of my card.

Finally, I added my sentiment in the middle at the bottom to complete.
